Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic recurring skin condition which varies in severity from minor patches to complete body coverage and often appears between the ages of 15 and 35, but can develop at any age.

Most commonly psoriasis appears as raised, red patches or lesions covered with a silvery white buildup of dead skin cells called scale, occurring on the elbows and knees, but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals. Psoriasis can also cause inflammation of the joints, which is known as psoriatic arthritis.
